Welcome to The Coach Horn Tootler. This website evolved from a difficult search for coach horn information, including music, appropriate mouthpieces and instruction. In the twenty-first century, coach horn information, along with its history, is scattered in the old coaching books, newspaper articles of the day and by word of mouth. The Coach Horn Tootler is an attempt to gather that information and make it readily available to everyone.  Designed primarily for those interested in the history and playing of the coach horn, other natural horn enthusiasts; post horn, bugle, fanfare trumpet and field trumpet, should find this website helpful.

Over the years, coach horn tunes have been written for individuals, coaches and clubs. It is also a hope to gather these tunes here before they are lost forever. Help preserve the music by allowing your original music to be posted on this site. Coach horn players (tootlers) are invited participate on this site with a personalized page for photos, technical advice and stories. Please feel free to share your interest in the coach horn with the rest of us!
